The Chestnut Lot Farm

The Chestnut Lot Farm is a 25-acre family farm owned and operated by the Herrmann family: Paul and Alice; and our son, Christopher. Located in the hills of Conway, Massachusetts, we raise Beefalo and produce maple syrup.

We are committed to connecting people to agriculture. We raise high quality, grass-fed beef in a traditional and sustainable manner, ever mindful of our impact on the environment. Our animals are humanely pasture-raised without the use of hormones or antibiotics.


The farm’s mission is to produce the highest quality beef and maple syrup at an affordable price for area families, and to do so with the lowest impact on the environment.
